Decorating and Styling my Primary Bathroom

I just did a Primary Bathroom Makeover where I painted first, then added new lighting, a vanity, and a gorgeous arched medicine cabinet.  Next up, I’m styling my primary bathroom! The accents needed to compliment the dark paint color with gold and brass accents to decorate and style my Primary Bathroom with moody and romantic vibes!

Check out the remodel process here! And you can watch the reel of the remodel.

Step 2: Primary Bathroom Organization Hardware

You know how much I LOVE organization. Rev-A-Shelf is my go-to brand when it comes to using the space in the best way I can while organizing things to the best of my abilities. So I had to be sure to use them in my bathroom. I built custom 7-foot cabinets (plans for those are coming soon!) I also installed a valet bar and scale holder to get the scale off the floor, and into the cabinet..

(Added Rev-A-Shelf trashcan bonus— it SWIVELS. Swoon. The pivot-out design and lid will keep your trash out of sight, and it’s supposed to help eliminate odor! )

Step 3: Step up Your Shower Game!

If you’re like me and you HATE being cold in the shower, you have to follow this tip– I use two of EACH type pf shower curtain. And then I double the curtain hooks and make my shower opening in the middle. It not only adds a more full and romantic look to the shower, but it also fully covers the length of the tub, and keeps me so warm!

(Speaking of warm, I had to grab some new towels during this remodel, and if you’re looking for some you need these Quick Dry Ribbed towels from Target. So warm, and they come in hand towels too!)

Step 4: Add the Finishing Touches!

I knew I wanted to add plants to the romantic space, and this brass plant stand from Target was the perfect color, so I had to snag it. Then added another faux plant to the vanity, and I instantly loved how the green complimented the Tempe Star paint I bought from Sherwin Williams. Last was the gold framed artwork from Target to compliment the brass plant stand and mirror.

The wood on the vanity warmed up the space, which is why I wanted to bring a little more in with the bamboo shades and bath mat! Mission accomplished, it’s warm and compliments the colors!
